 About US - Service Provider with the Professional Support Solutions

Thai-Fi  is a Thailand based company formed in 2003 that specializes in large scale property wide networks to support a variety of converged IP hospitality solutions.  These include:

  • Broadband: Thai-Fi is a licensed ISP specializing in fiber to our customer buildings.  Given the huge capacity of this broadband technology and the understanding we’ve negotiated with our fiber providers, our broadband service gives our buildings the agreed bandwidth plus bursting of up to 100 Mbps.  We’ve also launched “Sky-Fi” in the Bangkok metro area a wireless broadband service for the corporate/SME market using our hotel rooftops to mount transmitters and fiber backhaul to provide broadband which has fiber optic speed and bursting at business class ADSL prices.

  • Wi-Fi (and wired) networks for the hospitality market. Enterprise class “smart” Wi-Fi with handoff capabilities for roaming VOIP, auto channel selection for interference and other capabilities which results in back of the house operating efficiencies as well as guest internet access.  We have over 6,000 four and five star hotel rooms & serviced apartment units in our Wi-Fi network, providing Wi-Fi service to approximately 45,000 end users per month with 24x7 multi-lingual end user support.

  • IPTV/VOD/Digital Signage: Through our alliance with iBAHN, we offer hotels licensed movies and music on demand via IPTV technology. Because this service runs through the same building wide LAN we install, there's one support number for both Wi-Fi and the IPTV service. The system is live at the Pullman King Power Hotel, Bumrungrad Hospital and Dusit Laguna Phuket and Thai-Fi currently supports an additional 10,000 hotel rooms in the Australia/Asia region for iBAHN.  Additional capabilities of this system include:
    		Digital Signage
    Guest messaging and wake up service
    Room service ordering
    Internet Radio and Email via the TV
    Digital Jukebox with 10,000 licensed songs

    • Cyber Law Solution: Our “CyberSmart” solution combines these 4 critical network tools in one reliable source to minimize cost, and maximize efficiency:
    Thai-Cyber Law Compliance: Logging and redundant backup at our data center.
    Bandwidth Control: Better use of internet through fair bandwidth control and cache server
    Authentication: New addition to the suite of tools to authenticate users with passwords/user names extremely cost effectively.
    Network monitoring: Useful tool for IT staff to monitor the property's building wide network
       

    • Authentication: Ensures only guests / residents can sign on and handle the accounting as well. Integrates with property’s PMS and accounting system for automated billing and "click and pick" internet plan selection. 

    • VOIP:  Through our alliance partners, we now offer licensed VOIP service which charges hotels less costly international direct dial rates which can be passed on to guests. System fully integrates into hotel PMS systems for automated billing.

    • Smart building controls/smart hotel room: via our alliance partners we can provide smart room controls and building controls which also run through the building's LAN and is also supported by Thai-Fi.  Smart room control integration with the IPTV product for guests to use TV remote to control room temperature, lights, blinds, etc.

    • Flexible business models: These include revenue share, lease, fixed occupied room rate and turnkey sales where Thai-Fi funds the entire building wide network capex and opex.

    • Unified Support:  24x7 multi-lingual end user support and network monitoring.  Single/unified support for all services mentioned above.
